A Fresh Start: Formula 1 Kicks Off 2026 with New Faces

The FIA has released the 2026 calendar for the Formula 1 World Championship, promising an exciting season with 24 races around the world. The 2026 Formula 1 season will mark its 77th official season.




The championship will kick off in Melbourne, Australia, from March 6th-8th and conclude in Abu Dhabi from December 4th-6th.


Upcoming testing sessions will take place in Bahrain from February 11th-13th and February 18th-20th.


New teams and drivers are bringing a fresh dynamic to the paddock this season.


Alpine keeps Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto, while Aston Martin fields Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.


Williams lines up Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon, and Audi, replacing Sauber, presents Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoletto.


The new Cadillac team bets on experienced drivers Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas. Ferrari continues with the Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc and the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, and Haas will feature Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman.


McLaren presents Lando Norris, last year’s champion, alongside newcomer Oscar Piastri, while Mercedes will be represented by George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. Racing Bulls confirms Liam Lawson and integrates Arvid Lindblad, and Red Bull continues with the four-time champion Max Verstappen, welcoming Isack Hadjar to complete their lineup.
